Today was a really long, interesting, yet tiring day! Had learning journey to Little India today, was pretty cool and fun. The place wasn't exactly how I thought it was gonna look like, but overall, the people there were quite friendly and easy-going. So, once we got to Little India, we stolled, and passed by a Hindu temple or something. Then had to take out socks & shoes, and got inside the temple, saw this really gross picture of a mighty man eating some young woman's intestine! Hey, it's like some kind of statue mind you. It was absolutely disgusting but it's their culture, so I have no say about it. We went to one spices shop, greeted one indian lady and she was like smiling to us, touching our cheeks after kissing her hands. Then she stopped beside me, touched my cheeks, hold my hand real firmly and I freaked out. I almost wanted to shrug. Then she touched again. Then again. And smiled. I was totally momentarily dumbfounded at first, at wanqing made it worse by pinching my poor cheeks again. I seriously felt like I was being molested, not a great feeling. And Miss Liew said something which kinda made me giggle. Yume and Yihao and Bryan and other boys were laughing at me because I got "molested" by a "super friendly" indian woman. Gosh, imagine how stunned I was.
Then we continued to walk & walk, and ate our breakfast which was worth it as the food there was pretty delicious, I had my prata. :D same goes for yume, jieyee & trina. but, unfortunately trina hit the curry bowl and it spilled on the table. And there goes our $0.80.
Went to Lil' India Arcade, had this Hanel thingy, where you can have some unqiue patterns painted on your palm. There were 4 people who got them for free, and I managed to be one of them. Yay! Then, walked along, Yume saw some Japanese tourists and sort of greeted them, (or did she?), and had a 15 seconds talk. I was chuckling a bit, then. Then off we went to see a Indian man making bangles which was absolutely cool and amazing. Took a few pictures, and some short videos. Soon, we got back to school and has chinese lesson which was boring.
After school. Wenqi's mom sent nicole, yume & I to market 201's mcdonalds. I didn't eat a lot, just ate a applepie, then the others went to buy happy meal. Got back home with Yume, bathed, then went to Tampines Mall to catch HSM3. Collected tickets, went to some shops to shop, and did some window-shopping. Then, bought popcorns, nochos, hotdogs, coke and all that stuff. The show was fantastic! Amazing! Brilliant! Splendid! Awesome! Cool! Fascinating! I enjoyed it thoroughly. :D I was almost singing every now and then and was almost grooving to the beat! After the show we went to arcade, play a little, thanks Nicole for paying! Then sadly had to go, reached home, ate, read Twilight, used comp and listened tp HSM3 songs and Miley Cyrus's songs too, then tried to memorise the lyrics but to no avail. I really enjoyed today, thank you Nicole, Yume & Wenqi for this fabulous day, sweethearts!
Yay tomorrow BBQ at godma's house. Yummy!~
